Interwar Period in Pictures- Joseph and Betti Kaufherr and their daughter Hannelore board the St. Louis in Hamburg, Germany bound for Havanna on 13 May 1939.
This is the ship turned away by the USA and other countries and returned to Germany where the passengers were sent to the death camps.
