Guam "Always Faithful" - The bronze  monument is life size of K9 Kurt, a Doberman Pinscher who served on Guam during WW II.  Canine Kurt saved the lives of 250 Marines trying to take back Guam when he went out ahead of troops pointing to warn them enemy forces were ahead.  Canine Kurt was the first killed when the Japanese bombarded him with grenades on July 23, 1944. 25 Marine War Dogs gave their lives liberating Guam in 1944. Semper Fidelis
