World War II History- 6 April 1940 - Italy has occupied the Southern half of France.

6 April 1940 - Italy has occupied the Southern half of France.  Brits repel Italians at El Alamein and utilizing superior naval power attack and hold Italian territories across North Africa, encircling and destroying nearly 20 brigades (50,000 men) near Tripoli, then launch an invasion of Sicily at Palermo all the way to Siracus, where stiff Panzer resistance is encountered.
