Canadian and American soldiers examining abandoned Japanese submarines on Kiska, Aleutian Islands, September 1, 1943. My late hubbie examined modern day subs in Connecticut when he worked for Newport News Shipbuilding. He did not relish the inside of any of them, gave him clostriphobia!!
